The game saw the release of two downloadable content packs earlier this year, in the form of the Legends and SpeedHunters ones, which introduced new cars, tracks and events, but were available only for consoles like the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360. Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed for the PC platform will see the downloadable content released for consoles a few month ago finally appear for it and, what's more, the packs will be completely free.Įlectronic Arts' Need for Speed franchise has seen quite a few high-quality releases in the last year, and Shift 2 Unleashed took the series to a worthy racing simulator level.
